On-Site Services Made Simple
If you provide services for your clients, many of them come directly to your repair shop—but not always. Sometimes, you're the one who has to go to them. Whether you're fixing devices at their home or diagnosing issues in the field, the technical work may be simple—but managing repair tickets, invoices, and documentation on-site? That’s where things can get tricky.
Finty makes on-site services easy. From your phone, you can create repair tickets, issue sales invoices, and track everything in real time—without needing to return to the shop. It’s fast, paperless, and built for technicians who work on the move.

- In this guide, we’ll walk you through exactly how to manage your on-site services using Finty. You’ll learn how to create repair tickets on location, issue professional sales invoices for parts and services, and log payments quickly—all from your mobile device. Whether you’re performing repairs, replacements, or diagnostics at the customer’s location, Finty gives you the tools to stay organized and efficient in the field.

Create Repair Tickets for On-Site Services
When providing on-site services, not all repairs can be completed immediately at the customer’s location. Sometimes, the device may need to be brought back to your repair shop for further diagnostics or specialized tools. In these cases, having a fast and professional way to document the job is essential.
Finty makes it easy to create a repair ticket right on the spot—straight from your phone. No paper forms, no follow-up later.

- Open the Repair Shop Management menu, go to Tickets, and tap New.
- Select the customer, then choose the device brand and model from the list—or add them quickly using the “+” icon.
- Assign one or more technicians (including yourself), and set a delivery date and estimated completion date.
- Finty automatically selects a shelf, but if the device is too large or will stay off-site temporarily, you can leave the shelf field blank.
- Write a clear problem description, add internal notes for your repair team, and upload photos of the device before servicing—this protects you from disputes over prior damage.
- Tap Save, and the ticket is ready to go.
Your repair ticket is now saved and synced to your Finty dashboard—even before you leave the customer’s location.
This workflow is perfect for on-site service professionals who need to stay organized without sacrificing speed or professionalism.

Issue Sales Invoices from Repair Tickets
After completing a repair—whether fully on-site or after returning the device to your shop—you can quickly generate a sales invoice directly from the associated repair ticket. This keeps your workflow connected, organized, and fully traceable in Finty.
To do this, simply reopen the existing repair ticket. Update its status to reflect the current stage of the repair process—such as Under Repair, Waiting for Parts, Ready, or Unrepairable. Clear status updates help your team and your customer stay aligned.
Next, click Insert Invoice to begin building the sales invoice. You can:
- Add any parts used or services provided to complete the repair.
- Apply tax rates per item or service, or mark them as tax-free when needed.
- Add discounts if you’re offering special pricing.
- Assign the staff member responsible, and Finty will automatically calculate their commission based on your preset rules.
This method is ideal for on-site services where repairs are completed quickly, and both ticketing and invoicing need to happen without delays. Everything is streamlined—from parts tracking to tax calculations—so you can provide professional documentation and speed up the payment process, right from your mobile browser.

Create Sales Invoices without a Repair Ticket
In many on-site service visits, the repair or installation is completed right there at the customer’s location. Whether you're replacing a power cord, fixing a loose connection, or completing a quick diagnostic and repair, there’s no need to take the device back to the shop—or create a full repair ticket.
That’s where Finty’s direct sales invoice feature comes in.

Instead of going through the repair ticket workflow, you can simply create a sales invoice to document the parts and services provided during the visit:
- Navigate to the Invoice and Product menu and select Sales, click New to start a new invoice.
- Select the customer’s name and add a short description like "On-site fan motor replacement" or "Transistor repair"
- Add any products or services used. These can include individual parts or service fees.
- For each item, you can:
- Assign taxes or mark as tax-free
- Include discounts if you’re offering any
- Choose the technician or salesperson who performed the job, and Finty will automatically calculate their commission.
If your customer is paying immediately, select Save and Financial Entry to record the payment on the spot. Otherwise, you can save the invoice and return later to log the payment when it's received.
This streamlined process is ideal for on-site services where speed and simplicity matter. No paperwork, no delays—just fast, accurate invoicing directly from your mobile device.
