How to Activate Commission and Profit Tracking for Personnel

To get started with employee management and profit tracking in Finty, you need to add your personnel to the system. Here’s how:

Employee management-Add Staff-1

Access Service

This is where you can add your personnel to your Finty account.

Select the title of your personnel here. If you need to add more titles, you can do so through the 'Title' section in the Settings menu.

Enter the name and surname of the personnel you are adding to your Finty account.

Select your personnel's role in your repair shop or store.

Config Home Page

Select your personnel's landing page (the section they see first when they log into their panel).

Enter your personnel's phone number.

This is the username your personnel will use to access Finty.

This is the password your personnel will use to access Finty.

Commission on Service

Enter your personnel's service commission, and Finty will automatically calculate both their earnings and your profit.

Important Note: Red Lins

In Finty, fields with a red line in them must be filled out. If not, the save button won't work, and you can't save your entry.

Add Personnel to Finty

Navigate to the "Users" menu and click on the "Access" section. Select "New" to create a new personnel entry. Simply fill in the required fields and specify the percentage commission for sales and services for each personnel. Finty will then automatically calculate the commissions for each sale and service completed.

Customize Access

You can allow certain personnel to modify other staff members' commission rates within invoices. For example, your accountant could have this level of access to ensure payouts are managed accurately.

If you want this personnel to log in and use Finty themselves — for example, to create repair tickets, issue invoices, and manage tasks — check this option. If other staff will handle actions on their behalf, leave it unchecked.

This option allows your personnel to add or remove items, products, or services from invoices.

This option lets your personnel modify the details inside repair tickets.

This option lets your personnel record or manage financial entries on invoices.

This option lets your personnel see clients' phone numbers.

Enable Service Options for Personnel in Finty

In the next tab, select the checkboxes for each relevant service option to activate them for the assigned personnel. This allows you to customize the access to various functionalities based on their role, ensuring they only see the tools they need for their specific tasks.

Upload your personnel's signature here so it appears on the repair tickets and invoices they issue.

In the following tab, you can upload a signature image for each personnel. This will ensure that their signature appears on invoices and repair tickets whenever they issue a sale or complete a repair.

These are all the services across Finty's menus. You can check or uncheck any option to control which features your personnel can access.

In the next tab, you can activate or deactivate various service options within Finty for your personnel. Depending on their role, you may want to show them repair-related options or sales-related features. For instance, if the person is a technician, you would give them access to repair sections, while if they’re a salesperson, you would enable access to the sales-related services they need.

As an account holder, you can view your personnel's panel by clicking the eye icon.

Finalizing Personnel Access

Once you’ve set up the necessary fields and options, don’t forget to highlight the "star" icon to enable the personnel to log in to Finty. This step is necessary if you want them to have access to the software. If not, you can skip this.

Finty makes tracking and calculating the profit from sales and services effortless with its employee management and profit tracking capabilities. Here’s how you can view the profits:

You can view detailed records of each sale, including the profit earned on every product sold in your repair shop or store.

Service Profit

You can view detailed records of each service, including the profit earned on every job completed in your repair shop or store.

Access Financial Reports

Go to the “Financial Reports” menu and select either “Sales Profit” or “Service Profit.” You will then see a detailed breakdown of the sales and services performed, including the profit made by the salesperson, technician, and your company.

  • Navigate to the “Financial Reports” menu.
  • Click on “Sales Profit” to see profit on sales.
  • Click on “Service Profit” to see profit on services.

Use the filter option to narrow down results based on different criteria.

You can narrow down the results based on your personnel to view their performance, and Finty automatically calculates their profit for payout.

Source shows where the product was sold.

You can fill out one, multiple, or all five options to narrow down the results.

Filter by Personnel

To view the sales or service profit for specific personnel, click on the “Filter” option. Select the name of the personnel whose profits you want to track. You can also filter by specific dates, such as viewing the profit for the current month. This ensures that you can easily track and calculate commission payouts for individual personnel.

You can export this list to Excel.

Fee

This shows the cost of the provided service.

Personnel Commission

This is the personnel's commission percentage.

Service Commission

This is the total amount the personnel earned from commission.
