How to Enable SMS Service in Finty
Finty previously relied on Twilio for sending text messages, but we’ve now switched to Bulkgate. This update helps you reduce SMS costs, access detailed message reports, and prepare for upcoming CRM features. Setting up Bulkgate is quick and easy. Here’s how to do it:
- Create a Bulkgate Account
- Go to the Bulkgate website and create an account.
- Make sure to use a business email for registration.
- Activate the API Module
- Once registered, go to the Modules & APIs section.
- Find the HTTP Simple API module used to integrate Bulkgate with Finty.
- Click Create API, and that’s it! Your module is now active.
- Connect Bulkgate to Finty
- Copy the Application ID.
- go to Finty → Service Profile, and paste it into the Application ID (Bulkgate) field.
- Next, copy the Application Token (you’ll need to enter your Bulkgate account password for this step).
- Return to Finty and paste the token into the designated field.
With this service, you’ll have access to detailed message reports and insights within your BulkGate dashboard. You can track every SMS sent to your customers, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Managing Your SMS Credit
To charge your SMS credit, simply click the "Top Up Credit" button in the upper right corner and complete your payment. Your balance will be updated automatically in Finty as well.
